The initiative is part of the plan of modernization, improvement and increase of the competitiveness of the tourism industry that drive the Canarias government, the city council of La Oliva and the Fuerteventura island council.
Claudina Morales, president of the coalition Canarias pointed out that this initiative will not only allow improving the tourism industry of Corralejo, besides it will mean a huge economic injection for the building industry.
The complexes that will benefit of this modernization are the “Lobos Bahia Club” which will become a four star hotel with a shopping area, Punta Elena, Brisamar, Hopalco, Mar Azul and Aloe Club will be the other complexes to benefit of these refurbishment.
