Ex-pat Pensioners Entitled to Claim Winter Fuel Payment

UK pensioners in receipt of the UK state pension during the week 17th to 23rd September are entitled to claim the Winter Fuel Payment to help cover the additional heating costs through the winter months. This also appliesto ex-pat pensioners living in the European Economic Area. Although you may have moved to a warmer climate to escape the UK winter, your fuel bills are still likely to increase at this time of year and you are still entitled to make a claim.
